This month, visitors in TMT Plaza will have noticed a new friendly face in the mall. That’s because TMT has recently recruited a robot from Rice Robotics, Jasmine, to provide autonomous disinfection services.
At 10:30am and 5:30pm sharp, Jasmine automatically begins its routine, navigating between mall-goers, around exhibitions, and through corridors – all while emitting disinfection vapor. And once it’s mission is complete, Jasmine independently returns to its charger – no guidance or direction needed.
As a result, Jasmine helps reduce COVID transmission, keeps mall-goers safe, and frees up time for mall staff to focus on the most critical tasks ahead.
